Leica Histowax is the ideal paraffin embedding medium for the demanding but cost-conscious user in the histopathology laboratory. It consists of highly purified DMSO-free paraffins and polymer additives, and has a melting point between 54 and 56°C. Histowax is available in 1-kg bags, the minimum order quantity being 12 x 1 kg, or in a cardboard box containing 15 kg.

Leica Histowax, consisting of highly purified paraffins and polymer additives, is produced for applications in the histopathology laboratory.
